You can move your images to another computer.
If you are upgrading to a new computer, or just want to watch a movie on your laptop that you imaged on your desktop computer, you can move your images the same way you would move any file. Keep in mind that you must have a registered copy of Drive-in on every computer where you want to use your images.
You can access your images over your home network.
You don't have to always watch your movies on the same computer on which you imaged them. And you don't have to always move your image from one computer to another. By enabling Personal File Sharing on your Mac, you can access and play your images from another computer on your home network. Keep in mind that you must have a registered copy of Drive-in on every computer where you want to use your images.
You can store DVD images on your iPod, if you use Firewire disk mode.
This comes in handy when you really want to bring one more movie with you on a trip, but have run out of room on your laptop.
Using Drive-in saves battery power.
When you play a DVD image you aren’t using your laptop’s DVD drive, which saves battery power. This means that you are much more likely to be able to finish the movie you are watching before your battery dies.
Drive-in works with DVD Audio discs as well.
You can bring your high quality audio discs with you just as easily as you bring your movies.
You can change the cover art.
If Amazon didn’t have cover art for your DVD, you can supply your own. Select “Change Cover Art...” from the Info menu and you can set the cover art to an image from your hard drive, or use the iSight camera to take a picture of the DVD case.

Occasionally, Amazon will supply cover art that doesn’t look quite right. It may be a picture of the DVD case with all of the DVDs as well, or it may have something else that you would like to crop out. You can crop the image yourself by selecting “Change Cover Art...” from the Info menu.
You can search for DVD images using Spotlight.
You can search for all of the movies with your favorite actor or director. You can also search by title, studio, description, release date, or review.
