  RTL Germen Television in New York has integrated Flip4Mac   into their news gathering process to import Sony XDCAM   footage into Final Cut Pro. 
“Flip4Mac allows us to immediately import MXF files into FCP with no generation loss using a Powerbook,” says J. Dare at RTL German Television, New York.  “The ability to now view the proxies before import is a great time saver!” 
RTL has also found Flip4Mac especially useful for breaking news.
WJCT Television, PBS member station, edits on Final Cut Pro and imports video files from a SONY PDW 1500 using the Flip4Mac XDCAM Component.
